BRAIDED CORD

A glass braided cord is made of a core of glass yarns with a braiding of one or more layers around.        

APPLICATION               

- Thermal seals for ovens, boilers, ingot moulds

SPECIFICATIONS         

- Dimensions: 3 up to 6mm  diam.      

- Colour: white

- Round, square or rectangular section

TAPES

Tapes are identical to cloth, but with a width of maximum 160mm. A  tape is identified by its width, its thickness and the way it is woven.   

APPLICATION              

- Thermal insulation          

- Gaskets

- Protection of (flexible) tubes  

SPECIFICATIONS             

- Thickness: 2 up to 5mm       

- Width: 8 up to 160mm      

- Colour: white or black

- With or without adhesive tape

TWISTED ROPE       

A  glass twisted rope is made of twisted glass yarns.

APPLICATION                  

- Ingot moulds      

- Gaskets and seals    

SPECIFICATIONS

- Thickness: 3 up to 50mm

diam.    

- Colour: white

SLEEVE    

A  glass sleeve is a tube of braided yarn.                         

APPLICATION                    

- Insulation and fireproofing of tubes   

- The glass sleeve can be used flat.

This application is particularly interesting for gaskets with irregular edges, due to its flexibility.

- It is possible to braid directly around

 flexible tubes.     

SPECIFICATIONS                

- Thickness: 3 up to 60mm diam.

- Colour: white

KNITTED ROPES   

  A glass knitted rope is made of  glass yarns, circular knitted with one or more layers.         

A core of glass yarns is an option.

APPLICATION               

- Thermal seals for ovens, boilers, ingot moulds

- Seals for furnesses     

SPECIFICATIONS              

- Thickness: 3 up to 16mm  diam.     

- Colour: white or black
